Freud makes good stuff and I would characterize this tool as professional grade. I use a Bosch RA1181 router table and a Bosch 1617EVS router. Set-up was quick and after a couple test runs for depth it was done.Routed a 2" x 48" x 3/4" piece of Alder for a wall unit. The cut was very clean... no tear-outs, no pockets, and it never hesitated nor bogged once. Rather uneventful, actually. And no sanding was needed, went straight to finish. Yes, this bit was expensive and I didn't buy it right away.I recommend Freud bits and I'm happy with the purchase, other than the $40 price.
